Our Homes Have What You Need for Holiday Hosting
The things you need to host a holiday dinner: a good attitude and a bottle of wine.
The things you really need: a roomy kitchen, a table for gathering, spaces for playing and watching games…and several bottles of wine!
Keeping up with your holiday traditions away from home may seem like a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be! Our vacation rental homes are meant to be gathering spaces, whether your crew is your immediate family, a few friends, or a large group. Homeowners take care to choose the plan and amenities of their home with comfort in mind for their own families — but also knowing that they can share it with others. These homes are designed for year-round vacations, and that means stress-free and fun!
We are now offering extended stays in select vacation homes, with special rates for 2 to 4 weeks! Come to unwind and get in a festive mood, spend your holiday months here, or start your new year off with a few weeks in Chelan.
Here are a few ways our Chelan vacation rental homes are set up to host for any holiday:
Gather around the counter
Lookout cottages have kitchens perfect for that all-hands-on-deck, is-the-dinner-done-yet controlled chaos. With large center islands or peninsulas, you’ll have the right counter space for prepping. Many homes have bar seating, so you’ll be able to chat with friends while you manage the oven. Kitchens also come stocked with cooking appliances and gadgets, and — maybe the best part — will be spotlessly clean when you arrive.
Gather around the table
Most of our Lake Chelan vacation rental homes have open floor plans that combine kitchen, eating, and living space so mingling and talking across the space is comfortable. Many homes also have full dining tables with plenty of seats for a large group when it’s time to finally sit down. Place settings and table decor dress up the space —you don’t have to bring a thing.
Gather around the games
Some Lookout rental homes also have game rooms: from outdoor ping pong overlooking the lake, to air hockey and pool in the den, to dining room tables converted into board game empires. In some homes you’ll find video game consoles, and even a poker table! Perfect entertaining both kids and adults while dinner is cooking.
Gather around the TV
Of course we can’t ignore the holiday tradition of couch-sitting. Plush sofas you can fall asleep on, extra seating and bean bag chairs, and TVs (with all the streaming options) make comfy areas to watch all the big football games or holiday movies together as a family.
Think of the Lookout as a place to make your own. Bring your family, bring your appetite, and enjoy the experience of a Lookout vacation home rental. We hope you join us this year!
P.S. If you have remote learning and working options, look for even more homes with flexible dates! And remember all our homes have free Wifi, and many have private work spaces, too.
