Winter Itinerary – Backcountry Adventure

Cross-Country Skiing or Snowshoeing

You don’t have to travel far to find great skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling in Chelan.  Only 20 minutes from The Lookout, Echo Ridge boasts over 25 miles of groomed and backcountry trails offering stunning views of the Stuart Range and valley below. The Warming Hut is open to all skiers.  Warm up by the fire on weekends and holidays.  You will find a pot of soup on the stove on Sundays in January and February.

Didn’t remember to pack your gear?  You’ll find everything you need for rent downtown.

Late Lunch

Need to refuel after your day in the snow?  Stop by Stormy Mountain Brewing for a cold drink and some tasty bbq.  This family friendly pub currently brews three beers for the tap along with six additional beers from Eastern Washington craft breweries.  They offer one rotating draft cider and a variety of local wines.

Evening Entertainment

Before you head back to The Lookout, stop by Bear Foods Market for some specialty groceries including fresh produce, organic meats, artisan pastas, sauces, local wine and beer for dinner at your Lookout home.  Spend the evening soaking in the hot tub, roasting s’mores at one of our outdoor fire pits, and playing games by the fire.
