Guest Service Associate
The Lookout is seeking a Guest Service Associate to help ensure our Owners and Guests have a memorable and welcoming experience while visiting our resort. Warm, thoughtful, and gracious hospitality is at the heart of our culture, and this role plays a key part in delivering outstanding service.
Guest Service Associates greet Owners and Guests, assist with questions or concerns, and support day-to-day front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Answer telephones using proper etiquette and direct calls appropriately
- Receive guest and owner requests and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken
- Respond to inquiries regarding resort amenities, services, policies, local attractions, dining, and directions
- Communicate with other departments as needed via phone
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures and collect payments
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations and assist with reservation-related questions
Qualifications:
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
- Frequent lifting, pushing of supplies and equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally stoop, bend, or kneel for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and follow task priorities and instructions
- Clear verbal communication in English
- Basic computer skills and comfort with technology, including mobile apps
Reports To: Guest Service Manager
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position
- 32–40 hours per week on average
- Variable morning and afternoon shifts
- Weekends and holidays required
Compensation:
- $18.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-time
