Dia De Los Muertos

The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition that celebrates and honors deceased loved ones. Beautiful altars are made—decorated with candles, flowers and food—and it is believed that adult spirits come down to enjoy the festivities that have been prepared for them.

Come down to Historic Downtown Chelan on Saturday, November 2nd and celebrate! Riverwalk Park will be filled with story-telling, kids activities, pinatas and live music. You’ll have a chance to place your own decorations to honor deceased loved ones at the central altar. The famous dancing horses will be performing and the festivities culminate with a beautifully lantern lit parade down the center of town.
